![]() ![]() I made an appointment by phone explicitly stating that 1) since moving to the area from S. She also talked to her manager about my previous experience at Gigi’s with the first ombré and even offered me a discount. She paid attention to detail and provided exceptional service. A week later I came back for my new ombré and Erica fixed it completely, she made it exactly how I wanted and took the extra time to use multiple toners to completely correct the the hair to the right shade. I was definitely hesitant but I decided to give Gigi’s another chance. I told her what I was looking for and Erica promised me that she could fix it. I explained my experience and how disappointed and frustrated I was. ![]() I went back a month later to get my hair trimmed (found out my previous stylist no longer worked there) and so I decided to go with a different stylist, Erica. It was such a horrible experience especially because it was the first time getting my hair dyed and now I had to deal with having orange hair! I almost gave up on going back to Gigi’s but I decided to go back because I already had a trim scheduled. Instead of working to correct it with another toner she just kept saying how much it looked like the photos I had showed her (which it definitely did not). When my hair was dry I could see that it definitely had the brassy tones I specifically said I did NOT want. Because she took so long with the bleach, her next appointment had showed up and so she rushed through the toner (which is a fairly important process) She did not even have enough time to blow dry my hair, instead having another stylist do the blow out. Three hours later she finished bleaching my hair and then it was time for the toner. I specifically put emphasis on the fact that I did not want any of the orange shade that can come when dark hair is bleached. I had never dyed my hair before, I picked out some photos of what I wanted it to look like. I had been going to Gigi’s for a couple of months when I decided to dye my hair, I decided to do an ombré. «If you are in downtown Portland, make sure to check out our Broadway and Jefferson location!» Gigi Salon and Spa Washington Square Manager Our third location, just celebrated it’s grand opening November 12, 2011, and is located in the West Linn Village in suburbia bliss.
